We thank the parents for the kind words about ARC Basketball League.  We endeavor to provide a growth experience for the kids on our teams, including raising basketball skill levels, and important points of life such as practicing in order to improve, developing a solid base with correctly performed drills, tenacity, persistence, and being part of a team.

Our family is very pleased with the ARC Basketball Club.  Both our daughters’ basketball skills have noticeably improved.  Not only are they having fun and enjoying the camaraderie of the team, their confidence in their ability is way up.   We recommend the basketball league for players who want increased tournament competition and to really get a good grounding in the basketball fundamentals.  The coaches are doing a great job!

Chris will be going to Mary Washington in Virginia, and he’ll be playing ball for the Eagles.
 
Coach Beck Flanagan was referred to us when Chris played ARC ball, and the teams he put together consistently played well and the players developed to their full potential. His emphasis on team play and the fundamentals brought out a winning spirit and play in the boys, and my son learned not only how to play, but how to use his team to win. It was a terrific experience.
 
A coach is also a role model for a group of young men, and Coach Beck was the best example I could have wanted for my son. His discipline, his steady leadership in games, and his excellent character were very important to me. We did not have to give up winning because Beck is a nice guy. Not at all. His teams consistently won, and we were in the playoffs every year. What was so important is the example of leadership and character, and the strong team ethic Coach lived and breathed. Many of the friendships created on those teams remain today – long after the playing has stopped.
